DVD1048 Q: I get little or no sound from my speakers when hooking the unit to my Stereo TV/Stereo Sound System
DVD1084 comes with fully decoded Dolby Digital (5.1) outputs in the back for full surround playback. The unit comes from the factory with Dolby Digital 5.1 enabled. What you are hearing is only the effects on the Front left and Front right channels being played back when your unit is hooked up to playback in stereo. In order to hear all the missing audio information into Stereo playback configurations, stereo output must be selected in the Speaker Setup Menu. Pls follow the following procedure: (1) Make sure there is no disk in the unit (2) Press Setup (3) Press the right arrow 4 times for Speaker Setup (4) Press the down arrow 1 time and press Enter (5) Select Stereo and press Setup to exit. You should now hear all 6 channels of information downmixed into stereo on your speakers
 
DVD1045E Q: The screen is blank!
To reset the video output on your DVD, follow these instruction. Connect to standard composite connection (yellow video input on TV and yellow video output on DVD). Remove any DVD's from the unit. Turn the unit off, wait 10 seconds and then turn it on again. Using the remote, press SETUP, then the RIGHT ARROW button 3 times. Press ENTER. DOWN ARROW button 1 time. Then press Enter
 
DVD1055 Q: The screen is blank!
To reset the video output on your DVD, follow these instruction. Connect to standard composite connection (yellow video input on TV and yellow video output on DVD). Remove any DVD's from the unit. Turn the unit off, wait 10 seconds and then turn it on again. Using the remote, press SETUP, then the RIGHT ARROW button 3 times. Press Enter. Then press the DOWN ARROW button 2 times. Then press Enter.
 
DVD1056 Q: All I see are vertical lines!
This happens when the unit is in the wrong TV mode (I.e. NTSC or PAL). To correct this, press the SETUP button, then press the Down Arrow Button 7 times, then press the Right Arrow button 1 time and then press ENTER. This should reset your video.

RLC3207 Q: After I select "Multimedia", the Source button on the cabinet does not respond. How do I get out?
In Multimedia mode, the Source button of the cabinet has 2 functions to perform - "confirm" and " source". The "confirm" function is the default priority to implement the multimedia option. So the button needs to be long pressed for 3-4 seconds to implement the funtion of " Source".
 
LCD2603A Q: TV is not turning on. Plug is connected to the wall. The Power button on the remote has no effect.
Please check whether the mail power switch is turned on. It is under the cabinet on the right side.
 
    PORTABLE DVD PLAYER

DVD8723 Q: There is no picture in secondary screen!
This may be caused due the defective cable which connects the secondary screen with the main screen. If the cable is alright, then there may be a technical failure in the unit and it is advisable to take it to a repair centre.
